The Ritual of Care

Your First Burn

Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface before extinguishing. This helps your candle burn cleanly and prevents tunnelling, your candle will thank you later.

Trim the Wick

Before each light, trim your wick to around 5 mm.A shorter wick keeps the flame steady, reduces smoke, and ensures a longer-lasting, cleaner burn.

Perfect Burn Window

Burn 2–4 hours at a time. Too short can tunnel; too long can overheat.

Keep It Level & Draft-Free

Place on a heat-safe, level surface away from drafts, curtains, and direct sunlight.

Clear the Pool

if you see mushrooming or debris, extinguish, let cool, then remove before relighting.

Gentle Extinguish

Use a snuffer or blow out softly. Avoid dipping the wick into wax unless you can re-center it.

Mind the Glass

Stop burning with ~1cm wax left. This protects the vessel from heat stress.

Space to Breathe

One candle per 60–90 sq ft is ideal. For larger rooms, light two for balanced throw.
